CTES College of Architecture hosted a thought-provoking and inspiring Hindi play, ‘Ajab Byaah Ki Gajab Kahani’, written and performed by Ms. Alka Pawangadkar, to commemorate International Women’s Day. The play compellingly portrayed Rakhma’s courageous journey against child marriage and her pioneering role as the first practicing woman doctor. Through its powerful narrative, it shed light on critical socio-cultural issues, including women’s rights, legal reforms, and the evolution of gender roles, leaving a profound impact on our students and faculty.
Beyond enriching our understanding of history, the performance encouraged students to reflect on societal progress and their role in shaping a more equitable future. We deeply appreciate the time, effort, and passion Ms. Alka Pawangadkar brought to this session.
